Hi everyone I was wondering why is it that we have to realize who we are to get moksha, why does samsara exist for those who don’t realize that we are the ultimate reality when we’re the ultimate reality regardless
Hey everyone so I hear one of the main critiques for sankhyas dualism is how consciousness and matter interact being 2 completely different things, the how has never really been answered in dualism. However I was wondering can’t the same thing be said for the mind reflecting consciousness? How does the mind reflect consciousness when consciousness is not an object, why do minds reflect at all?
I was doing research into the Nyaya school of thought within Hindu philosophy and their idea of moksha is total unconsciousness, like in deep sleep does this mean the Nyaya Moksha view and materialism view is the same after the body dies?
Hi everyone so I was doing research and I realized that some of the vedantin sages used to say a spiritual leader did somethings to delude people or demons for example Madhvacharyas interpretation of when Rama was worshipping through a shiva linga said that he was doing it to delude demons from the wrong path and Adi Shankracharya apparently said that some of the Buddhas teachings to reject the Vedas were also to delude, can anyone tell me why this was?
