How to keep a lurcher off a hotel bed?

So as the title says- we are going glamping later today. They provide the beds and ask that dogs do not sleep on them..... erm 😅 problem is he jumps up while we are asleep and as you can see, makes himself quite comfortable! He stays on his bed until he thinks we aren't looking. Is it a lost cause?

Multiple friendships ending the same way

Struggling to come to terms with my best friend of 6 years suddenly turning on me 😢 this is the 4th friend (all female) in my 30 years of life to end the friendship by revealing they hated me and found me too clingy/ annoying. The thing is are all these friends right? Or am I somehow attracting bad people?

The pattern goes like this:

-meet friend, friend loves me, we become inseparable, I'm happy to have a best friend. Then out of nowhere they drop me.

I have lots of regular friends who dont act this way, it just seems to be anyone I let in closer.
