Suggest some books to read this Dashain holiday

Hey everyone!

I’m a complete newbie when it comes to reading books, but I’ve been wanting to develop a reading habit for a while now. Since Dashain holidays are coming up, I thought this would be the perfect time to start.

I’m open to both fiction and non-fiction, so I’d love to hear your recommendations. I’m also curious about self-help books. Do they genuinely help you change your mindset and improve your life, or do they sometimes just sound good in theory?

I’m looking for books that are engaging, easy to get into, and leave you with something to think about.

Please suggest your personal favourites, especially books that made an impact on you or that you wish you had read earlier in life.

Also, if you have any tips for building a consistent reading habit, I’d love to hear those too!

Thank you! 😊

Is anyone here married to or dating someone from a different caste? How did you convince your parents?

I’d really appreciate hearing from people who have actually been through this.

I’m currently in a serious relationship with someone from a different caste, and we’re considering marriage. My family isn’t completely accepting of the relationship because of the caste difference.

For those of you who went through something similar:

- How did you approach your parents about it?

- What were their biggest concerns/objections?

- Did they eventually accept your partner? If so, what changed their mind?

- How long did it take?

- Did you involve other family members/relatives to help convince them?

- Was there anything you did that made things worse?

- If your parents never agreed, how did you handle it?

Please share your experiences, even if things didn’t work out. I’m looking for honest advice rather than judgment. ❤️
