Should I get a stroller for my 8 year old? He's level 3, super active, and has a healthy weight, but he is hard to manage when I need to go into a store. He grabs everything, he runs and is really fast. I never go anywhere unless my husband is home with him, but everything closes when he gets off work. I just miss getting out 🙁 is there another solution I'm missing?
This was an intense 5 minute freak out. He ran out of nowhere and started attacking me and then went on to destroy the house. Again. What's your story of the week?
We had 2 bad PANDAS flare ups in the house we rent where he has completely destroyed doors and tore paint off the walls and as I stopped him he beat the crap out of me. He would wake up in the middle of the night to pull paint off the walls and the land lady wants to do a house inspection Monday. I don't have the money to make the repairs I don't have someone who can watch him more than maybe 8 hours a week in small chunks and I'm scared to death of being evicted with no money for a deposit or money to move hell we just don't have any money it's spent on his meds and the little repairs we can handle. I'm stressed and need help figuring out a way to come up with money and figuring out how to get this done please anyone with advice
Has anyone had to ever admit their kid to a state hospital? If so, what was the process like and how long did they stay? I'm in Texas so Texas experience is greatly appreciated but I'd like to hear anyone's story who's willing to share
Land lord saw damages done by my level 3 son (7 year old) and I feel defeated. He just got into ABA therapy and has gotten kicked out of school. I have to be with him 24/7 and wash people's laundry for any extra money. We're so stretched thin idk what to do. We can't buy a house and reinforce it the way we need to and we can't keep renting while he's getting therapy for all kinds of stuff. We have 4 kids and it's a lot. I don't know what to do I just needed to vent.
