HELP!!! 3 lines problem but reset isnt working. Can't find any mention of this problem sound online.

2009 Smart 451 Passion (US)

Car ran fine for since I bought it 2 months ago. Unbeknownst to me, the AC drain line was clogged and a bunch of water pooled in the battery compartment. I parked on a steep incline and after a few minutes, I wasnt able to put it in reverse. The shifter was stuck. I turned it off and back on to see 3 lines on the dash. I was able to push the car up a bit and a friend was able to put it in reverse.

The car wouldnt start so I towed it home.

I dried up all the water and had the battery tested. Autozone said it was good.

I found online about the 40 amp fuse for the Transmission Control Module. The fuse was blown. I replaced it but everytime I tried to start the car, the fuse would blow.

I replaced the tcm with one in my brothers 2008 smart 451. While on the trailer, my 2009 seemed normal. I didnt have to reset the gear (although I went through them just in case). As soon as I started reversing it threw the 3 lines and became stuck. It was on a decline so I tried to put it in neutral but it wouldnt move then it like slipped in N and rolled off the ramps.

Back to the 3 lines again. I put the tcm back in my brothers 2008 and it ran perfectly (i drove it around all day). I swapped it back into my 2009 and removed the clutch actuator. I lubricated that and put it back on in the same position it was in.

The 3 lines were gone, it displayed the gears as I cycled through them. It started up and ran normal. It didnt make the noise heard in the video. I put it in neutral and pushed it off the ramps. I put it in reverse and backed up a few feet. As soon as I put it on Drive, the 3 lines appeared and it was stuck again.

Ive tried adjusting the clutch actuator and nothing. I see the spring arm move on it at the very end of the noise cycle in the video. It retracts into the actuator (its being pushed) and stays there. When I loosen the bolts, it springs out.

I'm currently sitting with the clutch actuator off again, searching for answers. Do I need to check the transmission fluid? Is the clutch or gearbox bad? Is the transmission bad?

Please, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

The less you play, the more you're rewarded.

So many people post their strategies but the only one that's consistent is "play as little as possible".

This game wants...no NEEDS you to play. It wants you to play as much as you can. So what happens when you don't, it entices you to play by giving you good rewards.

I roll the absolute minimum for quick wins and thats it. I skipped the last album (just did the bare minimum) and almost completed it without trading until the last week. Because the game recognizes me as a low player, it tries to get me to play more. But I don't really care so its easy for me to stick to rolling low.

So far with rolling low, I've been able to prestige the bonus set with 2 trades and 6 gifted stickers. First time I was given 2 gold stickers. Sucks that I couldn't give one away. After I completed that set, I got a gold as my first sticker on the prestige. My friends sent back a few and gifted the remaining. I completed prestige in about 5 minutes.

Trust me when I say, do the bare minimum and you will do a lot better than you think. This means if a milestone is right out your reach, you let it go. Example: 150 reward is 10 points away. Let it go.

Sticker pack is only 50 points away. Let it go.

You have to have some discipline and the game will give you a bunch of new stickers in the free packs. Plus you will get those rare ones as well in random green packs.

I'm only giving this advice because I don't care about this game much anymore. They've sucked the fun out of it. I play to gift my friends stickers

After years of playing this game, I know the REAL hack to gaining dice.

All you newbies are posting your new found strategies... oh to be so naive again.

Here's the long story short of the secret.

The game changes!

Theres been some major advantages over the years and guess what, Scopely changed that shit. They are in this sub and any advantages you post that actually works, they fix it.

The real reason there's no winning strategy is because everyone's game is different! This game is based off percentage of landing on something good (RR, BH, Jail, etc). That percentage fluctuates depending on a few factors.

  1. How quickly/high you're rolling dice.

If you're rolling low, generally you will have better odds.

  1. How OFTEN you play. If a crackhead is coming for crack everyday, you dont need to entice them. In fact you can bleed them dry. But if a casual crack user comes once a month, you may throw a few free rocks to get them hooked.

  2. When you play. This is a double factor. When any event first starts AND when it's about to end gives you better odds. They want you to feel good to start so you keep playing and end on a higher note so you keep playing.

Second part is non-peak hours in your time zone. Say you're central us time zone. Play day 2, 3 and 4 on a 5 day event at noon and you will have shit "luck". Play the same days but after midnight and you will have much better "luck"

  1. How many dice you have stocked. You will notice that if you have thousands of dice, Scopely wants them back. They really began an aggressive dice drain on Harry Potter. They spent a BUNCH of money on the Simpsons with ads so this album is going to be a real drainer. Notice the new limited time set? Yeah it's to get you draining those dice early so you will buy more dice for the cool tokens later.

All these factors vary by each player so there's no one size fits all strategy. Also when you find a hack, you shouldn't tell anyone or post it on here. It will be fixed. As we've seen with ✈️ mode and timing tournaments. I discovered and used tournament timing for about a year before it got big in this sub. I was gaining an average of 2k dice a day. Stopped caring about the game, made a few posts and it spread like wild fire. It was fixed within 2 weeks. The 2nd album with train car levels, which they use to determine which level tournaments they should place you in.

In short, Scopely has pretty much perfected this multi BILLION dollar a year game, except for that overseas lag. But they are working on it and banning like crazy. The only way to "win"/stack dice consistently is to play as little as possible.

And for the last damn time! 6,7,8 method/odds only work on REAL DICE!!! These are fucking digital. Which means they can make you roll snake eyes 1000 times in a row if they wanted. They arent, therefore can't act the same as real dice!
