1st check up to dentist turns to 15 of my tooth need fillings
So, I’m 17 (F) and my sister wanted me to have braces since she will pay for it. Yesterday, I went for a check up and while the doctor was checking my teeth, she said to her assistants that they have to appoint me a schedule for a filling of tooth, then she counted it. She counted 15 of my teeth needs to be filled and one of my tooth needs to be removed. It was my tooth that was the misaligned one? Rather being aligned with my other tooth, it was a bit inside and the position it shouldve been has a gap.
While I was still there in the clinic, I didn’t know it was that bad not until I got home and I told my mom. She was really angry and actually went to check my teeth and the dentist was actually right. The doctor was actually where my family also checks their teeth so they know her. The doctor said the filling is $13 and $11 for the removal. Will it be expensive? Im totally new on this dental thing since Ive already said it was my first check up. I mean I wasn’t that surprised knowing I like sweets a lot and forget sometimes to brush my teeth at night.
I know Im doomed now and will take care of my teeth better. Some tips to help me take care of my teeth would be good.
