Hi everyone,
I’m a senior software developer with 15+ years of experience in fintech, banking, backend engineering, cloud systems, APIs, and AI/LLM integrations.
I’m looking to contribute 1 month of free, no-obligation pro bono software engineering support to a meaningful project involving Responsible AI.
Ideally, I’d like to work with a nonprofit, research group, civic-tech initiative, education project, startup, or community organisation that has a genuinely useful AI idea but needs technical help to shape or build it.
Examples of projects I’d be interested in:
- AI tools for accessibility, education, public good, compliance, safety, or transparency
- Responsible use of LLMs with human oversight and clear guardrails
- AI systems that reduce manual burden for charities or community organisations
- RAG/chatbot systems with proper grounding, citations, privacy, and auditability
- AI governance, evaluation, bias checking, or explainability tools
- Workflow automation where AI is used carefully and responsibly
What I can help with:

- LLM/RAG architecture
- AWS/cloud deployment
- Data ingestion and integration
- Prompting and evaluation workflows
- Building a small MVP or technical prototype
- Technical design and implementation advice
The work needs to be high-value and meaningful, not just a generic chatbot or toy demo. I’m hoping to contribute to something I can proudly mention on my resume/portfolio as a pro bono Responsible AI engagement.
This would be free for 1 month, with no expectation of payment or ongoing commitment. I just ask that the project be serious, ethical, and useful.
