Weird problem with diatonic accordion

Hey, was wondering whether anyone here had some insight...

My B/C diatonic accordion has, apparently overnight, developed this weird problem. The lowest few notes for the octave-lower "bassoon" reed on the right hand have started to sound kinda awful.

The pull notes are fine, but on the push, the five or six lowest buttons produce a rather wheezy sound, with strange, out-of-tune overtones in addition to the correct note, which sounds in tune.

This is driving me insane! Why do these low notes suddenly seem to produce slight extra notes which are out of tune, in addition to a weird air sound?! Everything else about the instrument looks fine, and plays perfectly. Nothing has changed, admittedly it has been warm and humid here but nothing out of the ordinary.

Please help!!

One single reed on my button accordion has stopped playing. The "pull" note works just fine, but the "push" just blows air through without making the note. The low-octave and "tremolo" reeds also work for this button, just not the standard high reed. Every other button works fine. PLEASE HELP?!

I'm not voting for Nikhil Goyal BECAUSE of his massive campaign spending

By now, I've had four, yes, four fancy mailers sent to my apartment via the postal service, advertising the campaign of Nikhil Goyal for state Senate.

I also just saw an extremely well produced advert airing for him prior to a YouTube video. Couldn't skip it. I can only imagine that if I had a TV, I might even see ads on there at some point already.

A candidate that raises $140,000 for the Democratic primary of a state Senate campaign has lost my trust. I've looked through his campaign finance filings; these donations aren't coming from poor or working people, they're coming from the rich, many of them from New York or California. Maybe he does talk a vague talk on helping out the majority, but these indicates to me that he will walk the walk the rich want him to, and do anything it takes to keep the investment flowing, and obtain even higher office.

Honestly, you all can save it with the talk of "you need to play the game to win the game" and "this is just how the system works". As long as election winners can be bought and sold, that election is fundamentally anti-democratic. This is a prisoners' dilemma, and when you take the money and sell out to the rich, you've abandoned the interests of the people.

We need candidates that just don't take the money. There's no other way to know that someone is committed to serving the genuine interests of the public, rather than their own ambition. Nihil Goyal comes off as someone with extreme personal ambition for political office, and that is never going to be someone that I want representing me or my neighbors in Montpelier.

The streets of Albany, New York, have a history going back almost 400 years. Some streets no longer exist, others have changed course. Some roads existed only on paper. The oldest streets were haphazardly laid out until a 1794 street grid plan that named north-south streets after birds.

I'm interviewing for (what seems like) a great job in the public sector. Can anyone comment on whether the workplace culture would be difficult for a white outsider (from New England)?

Basically the title, just hoping for insights, as I'm a bit concerned about taking this job- not because I don't think I'd excel at the work, but because I'd be serving the public as someone without lived experience of the islands and their culture.

Thanks in advance!
