I recently passed the UPCAT and got into my second-choice program at UPM, which is Political Science. However, my first-choice, dream program has always been Pharmacy at UST. I genuinely enjoy lab work, formulations, and the idea of becoming a pharmacist.

My dilemma is that UST enrollment is already on May 23, and if I don’t enroll by then, I’ll lose my slot. Financially, UST would also be a big challenge for my family. We’re middle class, and while my parents are willing to try, tuition is very expensive, so I would likely need scholarships to continue. At the same time, I’m also thinking long-term because medical school itself is another major expense.

What I know for sure is:

1. I really want to pursue Pharmacy.

2. I also want to aim for UPCM in the future.

Hi po! Mahirap po ba magpull ng requirements from UST? Plano ko po kasi magenroll na sa UST since hanggang May 23, 2026 lang ang deadline ng faculty sa amin. Pero, I am still waiting po sa UP dahil waitlisted po ako sa program na gusto ko.
