Jumping back to base is for cowards

There are a few good reasons to jump back to base. Your basket was broken in clam blitz and you need to jump back to be on the defensive. You need to go back and help kill spawn campers. Maayyyybe it's acceptable to jump back to run tenta missiles if you're jumping back to someone else immediately.

Other than that, you're a coward and your jump back to base should count as a splat. I actually blame nintendo for this, as splats are overvalued in this stupid game. Even turf war isn't team deathmatch, splats mean nothing. Hey, maybe the extra two seconds you would have stayed alive is two seconds the other team isn't inking the zone or riding the tower. Back in my day, deserters were shot on sight.

Question about the Vitamin D+

I know that the primary meta function of the Vitamin D+ is to increase tension by putting another clock on Juliette's plans. But I need help understanding it in practical terms.

Like, wouldn't contaminating the water supply also affect Camile's memory? Like would she even remember to continue talking to the algorithm? Maybe she has her own secret unlimited supply of water bottles. But do all of her raiders and the various henchmen she needs to enforce her plans also have their own supply of water bottles? Why would an amnesiac raider do anything for her?

On an even bigger scale, wouldn't everyone forgetting how to do their jobs cause an apocalypse much faster than a Juliette-led rebellion? In the most recent episode, we are told that Shirley and Knox leaving the silo will instantly make it 34% more likely the silo will collapse. Isn't erasing their memories effectively doing the same thing?

I genuinely don't understand the complaints about Aerosprays in Turf

You know what decent Aerosprays do? They actually try to win! They paint up the space in front of you, they're rarely spawn camped, and if they are, they usually find a way out or create some space with their specials. A decent Aerospray is pushing into enemy space the entire game, and not just hiding behind safety, waiting for teammates to do the work. Two decent Aerosprays on your team is basically a guaranteed win.

Sure, blasters and rollers and other sharkers are great when you're spawn camping, but worthless otherwise.

Or worse, do you know how many matches I play with chargers and exploshers who spend an entire round up in safety? They end up like 3-1 with 500 ink every game, and lose 7 matches in a row without a care in the world.

PSA: Don't attack your fellow defending team in Tricolor

Im so sick of players not understanding Tricolor battles. Your team doesn't have to have the most ink, just one of the defending teams has to have more than the attacking team. Other defending team, please stop shooting me when Im taking the bell, or trying to base camp me while the other attacking team is in your base.

Thank you!

Backline is worthless in turf war

Spare me your "turf war doesn't matter" responses. If you don't want to win, why are you playing the game?

I consistently push forward into the other team's base, then I look back and see my charger teammate just camping on his safe spot a mile back at our base. After the game, I look at his stats and he's like 3-0 with 400 ink. Like what's the point? Do you feel good about yourself taking cheap shots when you're out of range for anyone to chase you down? You'd rather be a drain on the team every game and consistently lose in order to feel good about yourself?

This doesn't apply to the chargers who are willing to drop down and actually help, or push up into the other team's base and hold choke points.
