First fl 503 (09/11) should I give a hard push or reschedule
My goal is a 510+, testing in 09/11 and I’ve only taken one full-length so far (AAMC FL3). I started studying for the MCAT in mid-June and have basically spent the whole summer studying. I just graduated this May and I’m currently in my gap year, so my only other commitment is lab for about 4 hours, 3 days a week, and the rest of my time can go toward MCAT prep. My current QBank scores are Bio 1: 61%, Bio 2: 68%, Chem 2: 83%, Physics: 76%, AAMC Section Bank C/P: 71%, and B/B: 59%. My CARS Diagnostic is at 50%, and I haven’t started CARS Question Banks 1 or 2 yet. I’m also about 63% done with my UWorld corrections. I really don’t want to postpone my exam until January, so I’m wondering if it makes more sense to just do a hard push starting now, study ~8 hours a day, and see how much I can improve, or if postponing to January would realistically be the better decision for hitting 510+? Has anyone been in a similar situation and managed to make a significant jump in the last few weeks?
