I bought a Canon IXY Digital 50 camera from Japan. The seller notified me that the power plug follows the Japanese Type A standard and that a voltage converter is required when using it outside of Japan. I’m in America. I was told by a friend that it should be fine since it says 100v-240v. Can I still charge it here? If I need a voltage converter then where do I get one?
