Looking for thoughts on splitting full bathroom into half bath and laundry room
My husband and I recently bought this house and are considering splitting the full bath on the second floor into a half bath and laundry room (our house has three full baths and it's just the two of us here so they're not all necessary, and it would be nice to not have to go to the basement to do laundry anymore). The first picture is the current layout and the second picture is what we would like it to be. My biggest concern is that both rooms might be too small? We're open to turning the whole bath into only a laundry room as well, but it would be nice to keep a half bath so that anyone staying in the guest room on the second floor doesn't have to go downstairs to use the bathroom, though we don't have guests very often. Home ownership and remodeling is also very new to me so also curious about any other considerations with putting a laundry room on the second floor that I might not be thinking about, thanks for reading
