This is not a knock on GD because the album is good but there’s just something about Stick Season that I connect with on such a deep level. Front to back, Stick is a masterpiece to me. I appreciate that album so much.
These two tracks are good enough to be on Stick Season which I think was an album for the ages. Orbiter and End of August are my top two off GD. Where do you rank EoA?

This lyric breaks me because it is a crushing truth I don’t want to live with. Maybe it’s scoped to nature on the track - or maybe not. It’s the literal opposite of “We’ll all be here forever”.
You can tell on his interviews and shows, he’s just a normal, no frills, quirky dude. His music and writing reflect it all. What a gem. Don’t ever change.
