I still can't get over Shen Lanzhou and QJJ
As the title says, no matter what new stories I end up reading, I always come back to this one and can't seem to be able to move on from it. I am so stuck on Shen Zechuan as a character and he's had me in a chokehold for over a year. Cezhou is just so good and wholesome that I can't help but subconsciously comparing every new couple to them T>T The amount of time I spent rereading and going over certain parts of QJJ is something I'm not even proud about anymore. In every new danmei I read I kind of look for them so I can scratch this specific itch, that dynamic they have and that subtle black lotus type of character that Lanzhou is. Thrice Married came close to this, since Lin Qingyu is kind of similar to Lanzhou, and Fei Du from Silent Reading also feels similar to him but that's barely scratching the itch. I've read many danmei but nothing's helped me get over it. It's weird because it's never happened with any other story, and they weren't my first danmei either. So I'm just curious if someone else is experiencing this, and if you're also a fan of QJJ and had similar longing if there's a story that felt like QJJ and gave you some sort of relief.
