My mom wants to read The Heavens Official Blessing after, about 7 or 8 months ago before I opened up to her about my love for BL, she found it in a book store and read the sinopsis thinking it was girl x boy book, I told her her it was a boy x boy book and she left disappointed. With time I managed to open up to her about BL, first ships, showing her some mangas...
I managed to buy my first danmei, Remnants of Filth. After devouring books 1, 2 and 3 I discovered there were no more volumes in Spanish until the 26th of October so I decided to buy a novel that had more volumes, this being The Heavens Official Blessing. After I told my mom, because my parents make me pay for everything except books, she said that she wanted to read it.
She mostly reads historic novels and does NOT like 18+ content, so if you have recommendations for her to read and if you think she should read The Heavens Official Blessing please tell me.
I came across this novel recommendation on yt. It's a short story consisting of only 30 chapters.
Each chapter is very short-ranges from 10 lines on your phone to 5 paragraphs I guess?
It's written By Bai Qi Nan Kang, apparently it's his autobiography about his relationship with his ex. He actually said to him that he was willing to wait till age 35 for him. His ex had actually married someone else.
The author in real life didn't even reach the age of 28 and unalived himself.
Idk I'm crying so hard rn for some unknown reason or maybe this or its just an exaggerated feeling rn cuz Lana Del ray is playin in my mind, but is love actually this deep? Ik that Hua hua waited for and searched for his highness for 800 years and was willing to die for him and do everything thing for him.
Im demi and still young and im kinda doubtful I would even find someone but reading stuff like these and realising ppl take such a decision really baffled me??
Just finished Inferior Desires and I really enjoyed it! It’s a pretty quick read (68 chapters), and for me the romance is definitely the main attraction rather than the plot.
What I especially liked was the ML. He has some absolutely insane thoughts 😭 but the important thing is that he doesn’t actually act on them because he genuinely cares about the MC. That contrast made him really interesting to read.
Also, the misunderstandings don’t drag forever. When something comes up, it gets cleared up relatively quickly instead of turning into 30 chapters of unnecessary angst.
Overall: easy, fast-paced read + romance-heavy + no painfully dragged-out misunderstandings.
Not saying it’s some groundbreaking masterpiece, but if you want something entertaining that you can finish quickly, I’d recommend giving it a try!
I’ve read Moral Decay, and liked how they’re both horrible people compared to the dynamic of one person being abused and disadvantaged the whole relationship.
And the Pervert and the Yandere has the dynamic of both being obsessed with each other, not one scared of the other.
I enjoy toxicity and dark themes with minimal power differences and very much without rape

I’ve been searching for this novel for ages, but I can’t remember the title or author. It is NOT “The Tattoo.”
Here’s what I remember:
- The MC is a wealthy student.
- The ML is quiet, introverted, and reserved.
- I think the ML works at/owns a tattoo shop, although I’m not 100% certain about this.
- The MC goes to the tattoo shop with his girlfriend.
- He wants to get his girlfriend’s face tattooed on him.
- Before he can actually get the tattoo, his girlfriend breaks up with him.
- When the MC first enters the shop, the ML is sleeping inside.
- Later in the story, the ML is the one who gives the MC his first tattoo.
- The MC develops a crush on the ML and pursues him.
- They are roughly the same build/body type.
- I remember the novel being relatively lesser-known.
The details I’m most certain about are the rich student MC, the girlfriend’s face tattoo, her breaking up with him before he gets it, and the ML sleeping in the shop when they first meet.
I’ve searched everywhere and still can’t find it 😭 If anyone recognizes it, please tell me the title or author!
I cant exactly remember it but i think either the mc name or the novel name itself contained "Bai." The mc from what I remember is reborn while the ml and their son together go back in time after building a time travel machine and help mc in the conflict that led to his demise. Mc and Ml do not see eye to eye for a long time and fight a lot but pretend to be loving infornt of their son. At the end of the story, it's revealed to the audience that the son also went back in past cuz from mc's pov he's still the innocent and cute child he always was.
