Hotspot/internet connectivity
Hi all - been having issues with the hotspot internet connectivity and was wondering if anyone else was too or maybe it's something settings tweak I need to make. For context, I plan to use it on average once a week or so to take a video call on my previous phone, since the Sidephone isn't really suited for that use case.
When I first got the Sidephone, I was able to connect my Galaxy S23+ to its hotspot, but it'd have a status of "connected without internet", even though my phone could reach the internet with mobile data just fine (I did have to go fix my APN settings though). However, after updating the phone to - I think it was 1.0.6? Whichever was the last stable version before 2.0.0 - my hotspot was able to connect to the internet.
But I ran into the same issue again earlier this week after updating to 2.0.0.
I have US Mobile Dark Star, unlimited data. 10GB premium, 5GB hotspot, not even close to the limit at any point. Any ideas?
