There’s shading but my room is too bright so it may look like there’s none ( you need to squint a bit to see it ). Had lots of fun experimenting with her hair color, the initial color looked too dark and after a bit of mixing with white, it turned out to be better. Skin shading is done for the most part, but I need to mask certain areas now ( pray for me 😭)
First part of surface primer is done but there are uneven patches so I will sand those parts down and prime it again, overall it’s a somewhat smooth process except for tiny details such as her earrings and accessories. I’ll be working on both kits very soon^^ both have around 50-57 parts but I’m looking forward to the challenge:3
Proud of how her face turned out! Lots of trial and error with her, but it worked out in the end.
(Okay the eye really reminds me of pirate Clark from the backroom movie 😭)
Upper half is around 50% done and her stockings are at least 70% done. Just minus the darker shading on certain larger areas and the gold patterns (we don’t include shoes here because they’re another story)
I tried something new this time, instead of trying to use paint to colour eyes (multiple trial and error) I finally managed to make use of my colour pencils, it’s much easier compared to paint in my opinion. Also I figured how to do shading( another win). Exams are ending soon so I’ll probably get more time to rework certain parts of the kit :p
