What are those components and values?
So, i recently got this old Mellanox ConnectX-3 Pro MCX312B 10G Network card and it's broken. It gets detected, i can flash the firmware etc. but no link comes up.
Was about to throw it away, but then realized there's at least two broken components. L1 and L13. But what are those?
L seems to indicate they are both inductors.
- L1 seems to have an identical twin at L3, which reads 2R2, and measures about 5mm². So probably an 2.2 uH inductor? But which form factor is that?
- L13 measures to be around 1.6mm in width and 3.2 in length, so probably a 1206 package. But how do i find out the value? L2 and L4 seem to be the same size, but how likely is it that they have the same value.. if i will even be able to measure them. I do have access to an LCR meter but never really used it before. I'd probably have to desolder them before measuring?
