I want to learn Lancer, where to start?
first, is there a free LEGAL way to read the core book? or something similar; my TTRPG experience is mainly pathfinder for which there is the archives of nethys; any similar such things?
second, i actually know pretty little about it aside that is a rather crunchy mecha game; how is the usual gameplay loop of a session/campaign?
probably i will crunch the rules intil i feel familiar and then reel my friends to try it out.
update: thanks for all the info people, i want to read the whole rules so i went on and bought the game, i was probably going to at some point anyways; i could have read the player facing rules first but since im almost certainly going to be the GM i wanted the specific rules and such from the get go, also i will be checking the Comp/con soon i guess.
