Uber availability in the corridor
Hello Squamish, I am entering into Squamish tomorrow morning at 9 and I need a connector ride from the SAC to the Garibaldi Lake Trail parking lot. I’ve looked into uber availability in Squamish and heard it’s pretty iffy due to low supply of drivers. My question is: If I were to attempt to get an Uber from Squamish to the trailhead is it realistic that the ride would be accepted within half an hour or at all? I’m most likely going to go with Squamish Taxis to get there but their quote is unsurprisingly incredibly high so I was wondering if uber is an option I can take or if it’s not even worth trying. I am on a fairly tight schedule so if it’s likely that it’ll take over an hour for a driver to accept the ride then I’ll definitely be opting out of using uber. I appreciate any and all feedback.
