An attempt at redesigning my logo

Im trying to redesign the logo for my project because I wasn't happy with the old logo. Is this version any better?

More info on my show Cat:Alyst here: https://www.reddit.com/r/IndieAnimation/s/jQWDXZSBUL

Tldr: its an urban sci-fi/fantasy/adventure mystery box show set in middle America in the 2010s about a group of teenagers protecting a psychic alien cat girl from the government after her planet appeared in Earth's sky.

Comic idea for any artist more talented than me

So I had this idea for a 3 panel Kitulu comic, and I've been trying to make it but I can't quite make it work, so I thought why not put it out into the aether and see if someone more talented can make it.

Panel 1: Kit sleeping with her head in Lulu's lap. Lulu looks down with a loving look on her face, stroking Kit's hair. Next to them is an upgraded arm cannon Kit was working on.

Panel 2: Kaboodle enters from the right, about to ask Kit something.

Panel 3: Lulu points the arm cannon at Kaboodle and starts charging it with a stern look on her face. Kaboodle leaves in a hurry saying "nevermind!"

Feel free to make this comic if you want, all I ask is that I be credited, or just ignore this idea if its a dumb idea.

My pitch for an indie animated series (and a rough draft of the logo)

Currently working on some character designs for a bigger post on this, but I decided I wanted to do an elevator pitch (using that term loosely) post to see what people think of the idea.

My show, Cat:Alyst, would be an urban sci-fi/fantasy/adventure show, with some horror and anime inspired elements. It would basically be a mystery box show set in the 2010s (starting in 2013) in middle America following a group of friends who have to protect a psychic alien cat girl who fell from the sky from the government after the cat girl's planet appeared in Earth's sky, all the while solving the mystery of why the planet suddenly appeared, what the government is hiding about it, what they know, and how it may or may not connect to the the disappearance of their friend 2 years ago.

The first season would follow 2 main groups. The first is a group of younger teens (13-14) who took in the psychic alien cat girl and are hiding her from the government while trying to figure out how she and her planet got there and how they can get her back home. The second group is made up of older teens (all 16), 2/3rds of whom are the older siblings of members of the younger group, who are hunting down a monster that attacked one of their friends at a party and dragged her into the woods, and who they suspect had something to do with the disappearance of their friend (who was the older sister of one of the younger teens and the girlfriend of one of the older teens) 2 years ago. And to anyone thinking it, yes this is heavily inspired by Stranger Things, but I promise it wouldn't just be a 1:1 rip off, especially in later seasons.

The best way I can describe my vision of what this show would be like is if the Duffer brothers, Alex Hirsch and Andrew Hussie were locked in a room together, told to write a show, and only Toby Fox was allowed to visit them, and then when they make the show they hire the visual director from the 2003 Teen Titans cartoon.

Also (this'll make more sense later) cat girl yuri.
