I realized I'm just a "vibecoder" after a 7month project failed
Hi! Before college my background was in economics but I decided to switch to IT right around the time I started learning to program the AI revolution kicked off so I idk why i started using it for everything
At first it felt like a superpower I started dominating my classes and won several hackathons I’m not gonna lie it wasn't because I'm some coding genius but mostly because in my country maybe only 10% of students know how to use ai (the rest just chat about there problem)
this year I spent 7 months working extremely hard on a major project (trying to build my own browser) however I recently hit a massive wall i discovered that the AI had given me a completely flawed system the architecture was wrong, the security was fundamentally broken, and essentially everything under the hood was a mess
It was a terrible feeling It forced me to take a hard look at my skills and I realized that I’m just a "vibecoder" I lack the foundational knowledge to build or verify a real system
so help me how do i learn programming in this new AI world??
