I need a name for my new novel (it's a paranormal mystery/romance)

I'm a new novelist, my debut came out last month, but I just finished a new novel I want to start querying. The problem is, I am TERRIBLE at coming up with names and I'm really stumped on this one.

It's a paranormal mystery/romance about a pop star who "dies" and is resucitated with the ability to see ghosts. Her stage name is Matilda after the Tom Waits song "Tom Traubert's Blues" (sometimes mis-known as "Waltzing Matilda").

Matilda is gay, but very closeted because she grew up in a homophobic church and is trying to straddle a line between a her original fanbase of conservative Christians and her newly-acquired mainstream, secular fans.

After the accident that nearly kills her she goes back home and gets embroiled in a mystery involving the deaths of a bunch of old-timers at the church. (Basically they're being killed by a vengeful ghost.) Along the way she rekindles her relationship with her childhood best friend, discovers that her church is harboring some pretty sinister secrets, and has to learn to accept herself for who she is and shed the bigotry she was raised in.

I will just say that the tone of the novel is pretty dark; there's some light moments but it deals with pretty virulent homophobia, transphobia, racism, misogyny, Christian nationalism, and it gets very violent at times, although there's a happy ending.

Right, so, here are some of the title ideas I have so far. I really am not in love with any of them.

The Glittering Ghost (seems too comic book-y)

Gays, Ghosts, and Glitter (I actually do like this one but it really doesn't fit the dark tone)

The Ghost of Oaklynn MacKay (Oaklynn is her birth name)

Unholy Spirits (actually a good title but I don't know if it tells you enough about the book)

Matilda and the Unholy Spirits (again, kind of comic book-y)

Really hoping for better suggestions! Thanks in advance!

Anyone wanna start a band where we switch off instruments?

When I was younger I was in a band where we all rotated instruments. There were 4 of us and we'd switch off between guitar, bass, drums, and vocals, and we'd all write songs either together or separately so everyone could take turns being the "frontman."

It was honestly a pretty cool dynamic. Would any other multi-instrumentalists wanna start a band like that? We could practice at my place (I have everything we'd need). If you're interested you'd ideally be able to play at least 2 instruments (including singing) and have some interest in writing original music.

Don't care about age (I'm 34) or gender (but be queer-friendly please). My biggest influences would be Jimmy Eat World, Tom Waits, U2, The Beatles, Bloc Party, Our Lady Peace, Nirvana, stuff like that but I'm open to most genres.

TLDR: let's start an original rock band where we all switch off what instruments we play and who sings

Illinois just passed a statewide cell phone ban!!! 🥳🥳🎉🎉🎉

I've been waiting for this for so long. I know no system is perfect and there'll be challenges but this will force admin at my school to actually address the problem, something we teachers have been trying to get them to take action on for years. I'm so happy the government actually did something good for once!

Neighbor wants to kill a bunch of baby bunnies in his parkway, anything I can do to save them?

Basically title. There's a burrow full of adorable baby bunnies in my neighbor's parkway. He saw me looking at them and when I showed him he goes "oh. Well, you know I'll have to take care of these guys when I mow the lawn next."

I was flabbergasted and kind of just said "no, don't do that!" and he kinda shrugged and walked away. My daughters were the ones who found the burrow and they would be absolutely heartbroken (not to mention, the whole thing seems kinda, idk, evil?)

The bunnies have fur but they're still tiny and can't survive on their own. I'm wondering if it's at all reasonable to try to dig the nest up and move it over to my parkway without hurting the babies or making their mom abandon them. Or if there's any kind of shelter or animal rescue that might be able to help. Any advice would be appreciated!!

(I'm in the Belmont-Cragin area if it matters)
