Applying for Partner Visa from outside the UK (Brit/Colombian) 🇨🇴 🇬🇧

Hi there. I know there’s probably a lot of similar posts here but I want to awks pecó fox ally for my case and anyone who might have been in a similar situation.

We both live in Australia. I’m from the UK and my girlfriend is from Colombia. She’s studying IT here in aus and she finishes her course in September. I’m on my third and final WHV which expires in July 14th. Annoyingly we need to look at applying for the visa around this time. I’m also looking into options to buy us a little more time in Aus by extending my visa (by joining on to her visa or another way if possible). Ideally we don’t really want to be apart and I want to go to the UK with her.

I work here in AUS as a casual and should meet the requirements for category B (showing my last 12 months of payslips and showing my anual gross income was above the £29k equivalent in AUD)

I still need the job offer for the UK earning that same £29k but I’m working on that and have a lot of connections in the UK.

Besides this, we have all her documents translated to English. We would just need to get biometrics done and are willing to pay for priority service.

I guess my main questions/things I need confirmation on are:

1 - (confirm) We can not go with her on a visitor visa and then switch to a spouse visa as she would need to leave the UK before we can apply for the spouse visa?

2 - Is it definitely £29k annually?

3 - What does the job offer need to intel and how strict are they on this? I know it would need to be on or above the £29k annual sum. But, can I reject the job offer after the visa is granted? Or what if I got another job offer that I wanted to take after the application?

4 - How strict are they on the 12 months of earnings I’ve made in AUS meeting the £29k threshold?

5 - Are there any other loop holes, grey areas or things I am missing that can be used in our benefit?

I would love to hear other people’s experience, advice and situations. Thank you for taking the time to read this and taking the time to reply!
