MCEN2006 laboratory assistance

Hello everyone, its me again. I just need some assistance in how do I do the Week 4 laboratory stuff (Fillets and Rounds) as it's quite confusing, and I've tried asking the teaching assistants before and was not too helpful on what to do. If someone has any videos or stp-by-step manual on this I'd greatly appreciate it

MCEN2006 computer laboratories experience

To everyone currently and already done with MCEN2006

I just want to ask in regards to the computer laboratory sessions held in MCEN2006, as from what I've observed, the proctor seems to not hold any demonstrations or actually tell the students what to do and how to do certain things in AutoCAD, despite it being a "Guided Laboratory Activity". Is this normal or is there something I'm missing? As the lab guides are very confusing already in itself, and the proctor just sits there in front while everyone is doing their work.

Thank you all for anyone sharing their experience!

eCAF error, enrolment cancellation, and penalty payment opinions

Hi everyone,

As from title, I'd like to ask for everyone's opinion on what to do in this situation, as I've faced this situation and lost out on the penalty payment, which felt unfair. Timeline of events that happened to me as below:

  1. Enrolled to course and paid in full 2 weeks before deadline

  2. eCAF submitted and approved by uni

  3. Uni calls/sends emails and tells me to apply for eCAF again, which is ignored due to the fact that an eCAF has been submitted

  4. Uni cancels enrolment 1 month into the semester, and when questioned, they say that the eCAF version is wrong even though it was submitted on time AND approved by uni

  5. Uni asks for penalty payment, which has been paid

  6. Uni asks to repay the tuition fee, again (already rectified after multiple calls)

  7. Reinstated enrolment after a day

Do I lodge a complaint to get my money back from the penalty, which is due to the fact that uni already approved my eCAF initially? I'd like honest opinions as this is the first time this has happened to me and I was shaken, and I'd rather not have this happen again in the future,
