Traveling to Napa then San Francisco in November. We will fly into Sacramento then rent a car but would like to be car free once we get into the city. Many suggest to drop off at SFO and use BART to get downtown. After looking at the rail system, I'm wondering if it would be wise to do a drop off on the other side of the bay and use BART from there. Was looking at Richmond, Berkeley, and Oakland. I am not familiar with any of these area so wondering if it would be a time saver, safe, and convenient. Other suggestions also welcomed.
