EMSK: how to get rid of persistent scrotum and taint itching (only occurring at night)
Have had lingering intense itching in this area for a few months now; is becoming very frustrating and sleep disrupting. It ONLY occurs at night primarily.
Have tried the following:
- No underwear at night (boxers)
- Bamboo boxers daytime
- Hydrocortisone RX 1% (just got this but doesn’t seem to help)
- Oral Mebendazole (anti-worm RX)
- OTC Anti fungal powder and cream (clotrimazole and miconazole nitrate)
- Washing bath towels on high heat
- Shaving the area
Do I need to be more diligent/patient with the creams (give it more time)? I’m at my wits end.
