Ciara is trying too hard to have an Ariana moment but the situation is vastly different and so is her skill set.

This is not all her fault. You get the roles you get and try your best to fill them, but the situation itself was capitalized on too soon and was an over reaction. I remember days after she had a Sephora ad talking about how makeup will be there for forever unlike friends?? Then saying West tried to ruin her life on DWTS? Y'all dated for less than half a year. It is not enough to justify "ruining your life". Like you didn't own a house with this man for years, write a book with him etc. it just comes off as super weird and makes me wonder what she even wants in a person? In my opinion she doesn't like anyone or that's what she portrays on the show. She can be such a wet blanket. Maybe I can see West and Amanda MAYBE thought this would cause her to leave and hurt her income but obviously it wouldn't play out with Bravo fans. She's sick of immature guys so she....checks notes.....keeps going to the Hamptons to go to superficial parties. Ariana did it so smart and left after the scandal. Granted Ciara might but it just felt corny to have her so upset and then return to Suh a trigger some environment.

That said. I think she would be a great actor. Like if she was on the Pitt, I feel like it would be an amazing spot for her. Or even on St. Dennis Medical. Something close to what she has done. Or the Bachlorette. This whole run after the scandal felt forced and not in line with her true talents. That said it isn't her fault entirely, it's her agent, the industry and the network.

What are people actually wearing to hybrid office jobs in SF these days?

I moved here from Chicago five years ago and one of the things I noticed almost immediately was how much less formally people dress for work here.

At probably the best job I’ve ever had, our CEO would regularly come in wearing a sweater with no button-up underneath and jeans. Coming from the Midwest, this was basically unheard of to me lol.

Anyway, after a TWO YEAR job hunt filled with remote contract jobs, I finally landed a hybrid job!!

I went to a team happy hour recently to meet everyone and somehow came away even more confused about the dress code because the outfits were ALL over the place.

One woman was wearing a pop star T-shirt and gauchos. My soon-to-be boss was basically in a traditional suit — button-up tucked in, belt, the works. Then another senior employee was wearing what I can only describe as a formal athletic quarter-zip.

Meanwhile, I have washed TWELVE button-ups in preparation for returning to civilization.

So for those of you who work hybrid/in-office jobs in SF or the Bay Area, I have questions:

Do you actually wear button-ups to the office?

If you do, are we tucking them in??

How often do you wear jeans?

What kind of shoes are you wearing?
Sneakers? Loafers? Actual dress shoes?

How much do you change what you wear depending on whether you have meetings that day?

I know every company is different, but I’m curious what the general Bay Area office uniform is these days because apparently I have lost all concept of how to dress for work. This is for a startup environment and I work in HR.

Scheana “buying Adam a penguin” but naming it herself is sending me

I’m rewatching VPR and I cannot get over Scheana making this huge deal about how she “bought Adam a penguin” as this romantic gift… only for HER to name the penguin Spot 💀

Like girl… how is it his penguin if you picked it out, adopted it, named it, and then presented him with the certificate??

It’s such a perfect Scheana moment because the gesture is technically for someone else but somehow every single detail is still about Scheana lmao....

And the seriousness with which she says “I got you a penguin” like there’s now an actual penguin waiting in the SUR parking lot for Adam

Was anyone else completely baffled by this storyline? Because naming someone else’s symbolic adopted penguin yourself is CRAZY work.
