Any Aussies/OCE players still playing WaW Zombies?

Trying my luck here because surely there have to be a few Aussies still playing World at War Zombies in 2026 😭

I've gotten back into WaW recently and finding anyone around Australia/NZ to play with is rough. Most of the active players seem to be overseas so the ping isn't exactly great lol.

Managed to find a small AU server on Plutonium with a few of us around, so figured I'd see if anyone else here from Australia/NZ still jumps on WaW Zombies every now and then.

Would be nice to actually get some local games going again, If anyone wants to jump on sometime just comment/DM me

Surely WaW Zombies isn't completely dead down here yet 😂

A Serious Discussion About Kazuya's Difficulty

Kazuya is often misunderstood as a difficult character because most players approach him from a purely mechanical perspective.

In reality, the execution is only a small part of what makes him challenging.

Every electric, wavedash, and hellsweep represents a continuous exchange of information between two players, with the Kazuya player constantly evaluating risk, reward, psychology, matchup knowledge, frame data, and long-term conditioning.

This is why Kazuya tends to attract a very specific type of player. Individuals who enjoy solving complex problems under pressure rather than relying on flowcharts or easy-win strategies.

To an untrained eye, a Kazuya player landing three consecutive hellsweeps may appear to be gambling.

Experienced players, however, understand they are witnessing the culmination of hundreds of micro-adjustments, several layers of strategic planning, and an exceptionally high level of cognitive processing.

There is a reason Kazuya remains one of the most respected characters in Tekken.

Not everyone has the cognitive bandwidth required to pilot him effectively.

AITA (Tekken Edition)

So basically I found this player and I didn't like the way they played because of this so called definition that I made up of "Real Tekken".

You could tell he was just playing for fun but I was like "Damn this guy is a scrub."

It only took them 1 game from me to immediately trigger me to be upset because I lost to a "scrub" and locked in until he eventually left.

When I went over to look at his stats I then saw his bio that he is a 50 year old dad.

When I read that, I realised that I take this game way too seriously and forget that in the end, this is just a game. I might take a couple weeks now off Tekken just to reflect on myself.
