Will using mods ruin my map for others?

I want to start using the better building mod. My concern is that I often have guests in my map. If I build a bunch of elaborate stuff with that mod, will it impact my ability to have guests? I don't know what other mods are out there, but I may start using others. Are there any things to watch out for? I still want to be able to have other players visit my map and be able to openly serve games. Any tips or pointers would be appreciated, as would advice on pitfalls that should be avoided.

Really struggling 6 hours in still lvl 1

Maybe skill issue? Tell me if I'm doing something wrong.

Played this for 6 hours and couldn't get XP. Killing mobs pays nothing. Not to mention combat feels more clunky than driving a house.

I tried completing quests, but one of my very firsts quests "Dead mans Chest" points to an area with a few skeletons but no chest to loot, so it can't be completed, it seems. Then all Ruins/Camps I find don't seem to have enough chests to loot to "clear" them. So no XP there either. In fact, out of the 6 or so locations I've found, only completed ONE. I have a sizeable camp with all the basic crafting stations, made a full set of new cloths, upgraded my weapon to max copper, but I hardly notice any difference. Even with full food buffs, I struggle to kill boars and the drowned. The doctor joined my camp, but spends most of his time standing in my doorway effectively blocking my access to half my crafting stations!

The one time I took the boat out to explore a new island, I returned to find I had beached the stupid thing, and couldn't get it back in the water, STRANDING ME!

I've played plenty of survival games before, what the hell am I doing wrong here?

Edit: Finally made it to lvl 2 thanks to this community help. But just digging randomly because I don't see these red markers on trees, or whatever you guys are talking about. I'm colorblind. Still unable to complete many POI because I just cant see these markers. But now on my way to grab the second ship and the rest of my crew. Combat is still a real problem. Never played a game with such terrible combat. I just plop tents and run back to get 1 shot 10 times.

Do Defender perks work once again?

Just wondering if Defender perks work with the new patch. Are we actually getting fire rate, crit rating, crit damage, and damage on assigned weapons from Defender perks now?

Well the recent RockStar wave of cash resets didn't get all of of us, lol.

I totally 100% accepted cash from modders, duped cars, exploited, you name it.
I own everything. Every business fully upgraded, all 3 mansions, every weaponized vehicle and aircraft, every Pegasus vehicle, And every Car/Bike that's ever been the meta for racing in its class. Along with ~200 More that are garbage. I even have modded stuff that's not possible normally without cheats/mods.
As the screenshot shows; Over 100 million to spare. RockStar can eat my asshole.

Best way to get one Core-Reperk for a very new player.

Title. Imagine I am new, and want to avoid Commander level. I'd like to keep my Power Level as low as possible, and get just ONE Core-Reperk.
What would you suggest? What is the most efficient path to getting a single Core-Reperk without leaving Stonewood Ideally... Or at most Plank SSD 2?

Question for anyone who played the first Power Hour Today.

I missed the first power hour due to work, and will be like 15 minutes late to the second power hour this evening.

What was the mini quest chain? I'll likely only have 30-40 minutes to finish it. I'd like to be prepared. -Thanks for any help or insight.

How?

Context: NOT a noob... OG PC player, made an alt for reverse carries.

The "Command tab" has no "Upgrades" to Select, and there's nothing I can do in gadgets either, which is where my Pickaxe actually lives. Am I missing something obvious?

EDIT: I guess the Question becomes: WHY?

WHY is this even a mission in my quest log if it auto-completes at Commander lvl 50? Fucking epic.

Black Drum question.

With the Black Drum 5th perk, that says additional damage based on your missing health, does that extra damage also apply to the 'first shot after reload' explosion? Or just the base damage of the shot itself? And whether the answer is yes OR no... is that 5th perk worth taking over something conventional like crit?
