New Player Oracle Build Assistance
Hello Exiles!
I'm new to the game. I decided to get it 3 weeks ago and get through the campaign and some of the endgame prior to the start of next season. I got a little further than I expected due to some assistance from awesome people in the game giving away their free time and hard earned currency at the end of the season.
I definately jumped further in than I should have, and attempted to make my own build. When I say make my own build, I mean I cobbled together peices that I liked from other builds from mobalytics, maxxroll, and poe.ninja.

I am attempting to run a spark oracle that utilizes choir of the storm to proc lightning bolts with my guaranteed crits and call of the brotherhood to transfer all of my lightning damage to cold, along with CoC Comet. (Original I know)
I can currently do T15 waystones pretty easy. The damage is there, but my defenses are not. There are times when I get one shot and drop super fast.
What can I do to improve my defenses? Is there anything cheap and fast I can do? All elemental resistances are maxxed and I have about 4500 ES. I'm not sure how to stack it any higher without spending more resources than I have.
I only have 3 keystones, should there be other ones I should use?
I am currently working on the last ascendancy, but I'm struggling with it. My goal is to get it before end of season.
All in all, this game is a blast. I played POE 1 for a season prior to COVID, but wrapping my head around creating a build was too much at the time. I feel like I have a better grasp of it with POE2, but I'm worried I fell into an easy trap, or I am missing something.
I can't wait for patch week and watching about 25 hours of youtube vids in preparation for 0.5.
