Inside sources relay that the Cedar Rapids Kernels had a terrible financial year, marred by bad decisions made by current GM and CEO.
There was also multiple times they were serving spoiled/bad food. Moldy buns out in the open for everyone to see.
The GM chose favoritism and hired his friends, look how that worked out.
According to my inside source, the Cedar Rapids Kernels just had recorded low attendance this past season. There’s a lot of pressure on new CEO and GM.
In an act of desperation, they will be offering two tickets for $25 next season.
Maybe they should focus on increasing the quality of their food, as well as lowering the prices.
Don’t be surprised if they try to charge for parking again next year.
In addition to raising ticket prices, concession prices, and souvenir prices, the Cedar Rapids Kernals attempted to charge the public for parking in the city owned parking lot. The town of Cedar Rapids rejected that idea.
