Is becoming an eDiscovery Analyst worth pivoting to?

Hi! I recently learned about eDiscovery as a career, and was wondering if it would be worth pivoting to in 2026 to try and become an eDiscovery Analyst. My background is in startup tech world as product support, customer success, and product manager. Also, last year I applied to law school and got in / waitlisted at a few schools, but ultimately didn’t end up going.

Looking into eDiscovery, it looks like it’s a good balance between law and tech. I was curious to get some thoughts on how AI is impacting the field, and to see if this is a valid career pivot. Thank you so much!
