Making good progress on my hypermiling, can now consistently get below 4.2L/100km. Main thing, I improved my gear shift timing, and use cruise control a lot more. Will be starting a longer commute in a month so hopefully can maintain this efficiency.
Half motorway, half city. Can definitely do better but it’s a decent start
I have a brother HL-L3240CDW, and I’ve started to have a few issues when printing in colour.
As you can see in the photo the yellow colour is partly missing but also a yellow streak goes through the magenta and blue blocks.
On top of that when I print anything in colour the colours are clearly misaligned, causing shadowing.
I have tried a few things to fix it but so far Jon have worked:
- replaced all toners (off brand ones but good never had a issue with these before, was going to also try first party toners at some point)
- replaced drum units
- cleaned belt
- cleaned LED’s
- cleaned fuser
Any other suggestions of what to try?
