Crash Bar Question, Again… I know…

Crash Bar Question, Again… I know…

Okay, I’ve decided I want to get a set of lower crash bars. I also need to get a skid/bash plate which is priority as I’m running the stock one. I love the look of the T-Rex Racing skid with its protection and the oil filter removable door. I also like their lower crash bars, but not a fan of how they bolt to the bike (into the engine from what I can see in pictures). Garda makes some lower crash bars that from the pictures, seem to mount better.

I guess my question is, is the Garda low crash bars compatible with the T-Rex skid plate?

I’m more of a buy once, cry once purchaser. So if you can recommend anything else that is similar I’m completely open to ideas.

Thank you!

Amazing Motorcycle!

Wasn’t pushing it today, but was able to keep up with dirt bikes comfortably out on the fire roads and double track!

This bike rocks!

Location: Northern ID. Beautiful sunny 60 degrees this morning! Just rained yesterday so the dust was down and dirt was grippy!

Quad lock wiring question

Hey there!

For starters, just picked up a 2024 T7.

I ordered a quad lock set up with the dampener and charger. I ordered the charger with the loose +/- wires and realized I have several options of how to wire the bike. I learned that wiring it into an AUX power port up near the dash would probably be the best option so it only gets power when the ignition is on. What adapter do I need in order to complete this project, and or is there a better way to hard wire this into the bike?

Appreciate the info as I’m new to the quad lock/T7 world.

New to me T7, recommend some mods for camping!

Just picked up this 2024 T7 with 2k miles on it. Original owner put some mods on it. My plans are to do mainly off road camping. Living in Northern Idaho so everything is a fairly short ride to the dirt, eventually going to do BDRs.

Recommend some mods that would make this already amazing bike more of a pleasure to ride!

Thanks!

Advice for buying a rebuilt title Tenere 700

Hi there! Looking at a deal on FB Marketplace. It’s a 2024 T7 with about 5k miles and has been wrecked with a rebuilt title, asking $7,500. The seller has said all broken parts have been replaced with OEM and rides and tracks good now. Bike comes with quite a few extras and stuff I would add anyways.

What questions should I be asking and is it worth buying a rebuilt title bike? Is insuring it going to be an issue? I plan on keeping the bike forever and not reselling it, mainly for off road riding and camping.

Thank you in advance, this will be my first bike that I’ve not bought new from a dealer.
