Buying home in Burnaby…suggestions on lawyer/notary? and estimate on fees please!

We currently own a 2024 Mazda CX-5 Signature Turbo and are two years into the lease for a 2025 Honda CRV Hybrid EX-L. My wife drives the Mazda and I drive the Honda. We have two car seats in the Mazda and one car seat in the Honda, and need at least one car with good storage and rear room space.

I’m looking for a more “fun” car to drive that still has good fuel economy, reliability, storage and serves as a good daily commuter car. Driving the Honda feels…”meh”. I was hoping for something a little zippy, more enjoyable, as I don’t love the driving dynamics. I don’t drive a ton, maybe 8000km per year.

My questions:

1. Am I crazy for even thinking about trading my 2025 Honda CRV hybrid, with its large trunk space, smooth driving, reliability, hybrid fuel economy and roomier seats, for a car with more “oomph” that can still deliver some of those conveniences but perhaps to a lesser extent? 
2. What are ppl’s experiences like using the GTI as a family car (one car seat…like the Clek Foonf)?
