28 [m4f] SoCal- giving Reddit a shot
Hey everyone. I’ve officially hit the point where dating apps feel exhausting, so I figured I’d try something a little more genuine and see what’s out there.
I’m 28 and living in Southern California. I work in healthcare and I’m currently halfway through my MRI externship while preparing for my ARRT boards. It’s been a long road getting here, but I genuinely love what I’m doing and the field I’m stepping into.
About me: Blond hair, blue eyes. I’ve been told I’m very optimistic. Sometimes that means I see the best in people a little too quickly, but I’d rather live like that than become cynical. I’m empathetic, a good listener, and pretty good at making people feel comfortable and understood.
Hobbies: I collect LEGO sets. Not casually either. Around 20–30 full sets and close to 200 minifigs from different places around the world. It’s probably a little nerdy, but I love the creativity behind it and the process of building something piece by piece.
I also love staying active. Hiking, surfing, soccer, volleyball, and the gym are all big parts of my life. I like balance. I can enjoy a beach day just as much as a quiet night talking for hours while building something together.
Bonus trait: I’m actually really good at planning dates. I put thought into them. I like things to feel intentional, memorable, and fun instead of rushed or low effort.
