Picked up a Pioneer H-R100 on Craigslist today!

Found this on Craigslist for $75 today! I was surprised it was still available, since it had been up for 3 weeks. It seems like it's in pretty good shape, even the level meters are working.

Now, I need to get my hands on a restored tape, to see how well it's really working. After that, I've got a bunch of tapes in questionable condition that I picked up for free with this one, as well as with my other deck, that I can use to practice restoring myself.

I'd like to share a subwoofer between one receiver for music (which doesn't have bass management) and another for AV (which does).

REL subs make this easy: you can use the high level inputs for music, for which the sub handles the crossover, and the LFE inputs for AV, for which the receiver handles the crossover, at the same time.

Are there any other subwoofer manufacturers with this feature? I've skimmed through user manuals for many of the other commonly recommended brands (RSL, Hsu, Rythmik, PSA, SVS) but haven't yet found anything similar.

Music listening is my priority, as long as I can also get acceptable AV performance, and my room is on the smaller side, so I'm thinking a smaller sealed sub is the way to go.

Location: United States

Budget: Up to $1000
