I am going to be starting in Queens in September. I chose Queens strictly looking at rankings, job prospects, and general culture but I guess the University has a reputation of having rich white kids. So I want to ask what the political atmosphere is like for someone who is a leftist or holds left leaning ideas. Ive heard the university attracts a lot of business and commerce majors so I am assuming most people will be pro capitalist conservatives. Not that I can’t get along with conservatives i just wanted to know what the political climate is like. How politically active is the campus?
