Married women, I need your advice.
I’m married to someone who is financially responsible and provides everything, but emotionally he’s completely unavailable. He can go 6–7 hours without calling/checking in, rarely says “I love you” or “I miss you,” doesn’t seem to care if I don’t reach out, and sometimes gives other women more attention than me. Whenever I bring it up, I’m told I’m “too emotional.” I always feel that the emotional connection is missing. Its me who always try to do conversations, come up with fun ideas...
It was a love marriage, and I genuinely thought things would improve once we started living together. They didn’t.
Leaving/divorce is NOT an option for me, so please don’t suggest that.
I want to hear from women who have actually changed this kind of dynamic while staying in the relationship.
What did you do that made your emotionally unavailable/stubborn husband or boyfriend start valuing you, pursuing you, prioritizing you, and actually becoming emotionally invested?
What worked for you? I’m looking for real experiences, not “leave him.”
TL;DR: I’m looking for advice from women who successfully changed this dynamic and made their emotionally unavailable partner more emotionally invested. I want to feel loved 😭
Summary: I want to know what actually worked for women in similar marriages — without leaving or divorcing.
