Zelle Deposits for Yacht Rentals
Hi, I reached out to a yacht rental company, Bruschi Boat Rental, and I was told in order to reserve a yacht I’d have to send them a $500 deposit via Zelle. Is that typical in Miami? The transaction doesn’t seem to be protected via Zelle. I’d prefer making a deposit online, like their website, using my card.
Why does renting a yacht in Miami feel so scam-like? Any suggestions for reputable companies or websites?
