Always ruins my fun by cheating
If I train commanders for 3 generations of 25+year rules and hire every single commander and knight I come across, while simultaneously going through the marshal skill tree for 6 generations have all the terrain advantages and supply, should I still be losing battles as badly as saying I have 15k and the enemy has 10k? And if so why do they always win. Why can't I win? It's no fun being the "money maker" and you lose 30k people to 10k. There is no "winning" ultimately and I fucking hate that. I'm confident it's not even the roll of the dice anymore. It's just a script meant to set you back from all the hard work I've done for 600 fucking years, weeks of time. Even if I have my cupcake settings on which is my default. I'm just here to have fun but I can't when I can't win and every tutorial says "more knights, better training, watch your supplies, watch terrain" no matter what combo I do all this in. I can't get more than a countries worth of land before it literally all burns to the ground with not even a large majority staying in my family name. I ONLY HAVE 300 LIVING MEMBERS. I owned what is "Russia" and a bit of the Baltic and now I own Novgorod once again starting from nothing, and losing wars for nothing because I've done nothing but fucking train to be a great warrior and commander!!!
