[Nintendo Switch] Not charging even after new battery
Hi, I’ve been struggling with my Nintendo Switch the last few days and I’m getting really frustrated. I’d really appreciate any advice on what to do here.
A couple days ago, my switch would not charge after plugging it in. It’s secondhand and I was warned it might need a new battery at some point, so after trying every soft reset I could find, yesterday I bought a new battery and replacing it seemed to do the trick. I played it before bed and turned off the console at probably around 70% battery. But when I turned it on this morning, it’s at 13% battery and refuses to charge again.
What do I do??? I really don’t want to send it in as its definitely way past warranty and if it’s something I could fix myself I’d rather do that, but I really have no idea what on earth the issue is. I also really don’t want to buy another battery to try again, it’s a little hard to justify another battery that may or may not work into my budget right now.
