I was a kid about 12 years old, and I was alone in the house (in boulder colorado) with a friend and my little sister (9) and the dog. All girls except for the dog. So anyway we were obviously really exited and so we decide to all make a big fort, crawl in, turn the lights off, and tell ghost stories. anyway, the ghost stories were all obviously fake, since none of us had any real encounters. But then I went to the bathroom. At this point I already had the chills from all of the ghost stories we told. So anyway I was doing my business when suddenly the light turned off. There was no sudden power outage, because my oven always beeps when there is one and so we always know when that happens. And even weirder, THE SWITCH FLIPPED! Like not just the light turned off, that would have been normal, but the ACTUAL F ING FLIP SWITCHED! Like I heard the click. Anyway, I got the fuck out of there, and to this day I have no idea wtf happened. I might be overthinking this, but yeah. Anyway, I talked later to my older friend who was an adult in her 30s at the time who has had multiple encounters, and I included that we had been telling ghost stories. And she said to me „if you mention them, they are more likely to appear!“ I’m not sure if I am a believer or not, but I do know two people (this lady and my dad) who swear they have seen ghosts, and I find it hard not to believe them, because neither of them ever did drugs or anything so no hallucinations either. But this is one of the only paranormal things that have happened to me so far, and idk of it really is paranormal, but it sure felt like someone was in there, watching me pee, who decided to turn off the lights to mess with me a bit.
