Im trying to repair my switch controller but the screws are stripped, how can I go from here?
Before I begin I am going to say this, I am broke and fresh out of high school, I do not have the means to buy a new controller, nor do I have the means to buy any fancy tools to help me with this issue, just some screwdrivers, a hair tie, and a dream. That being said I really need to fix this controller.
I love this controller, it’s a third party one from Walmart but it’s served me well these past couple of years, I need to fix this because it it the only reliable way I can game, my switch lite is missing a trigger and has severe drift that I cannot fix because I need specialized tools to do so.
My issue is that the screws are stripped, I cannot get them out of the interior for the life of me (I have tried for the very literal past five hours) I have looked up three tutorials, all contained incredibly useful information but not the kind I needed unfortunately. If anyone has any ideas on how I could get these out I am all ears, I wish I could afford a new controller, but I have to make this one last as long as possible so I can game with my sisters.
