Diagnosis?

Some nights ago the lights started flickering on our trailer home and after half a minute the outside A/C compressor blew up (I think it's called a terminal blowout), since then we lost power to about half of the house, today they came to fix it and the problem seems to be on the box connected to the meter box. My question is, did the electrical issue cause the terminal blowout in the compressor? We rent the land the house sits on and the landlord is responsible for that box next to the meter up to where it connects to our house so I wanted to know if the a/c repair would fall on us or them, they are paying for the electrical fix.

All the electrician said was that we were running on one leg but was unsure on what caused the A/C to blow up.

Trying to figure out tonage

This A/C unit is older than I am, Its for a trailer home and I wanted to figure out the how powerful it was since the compressor blew last night. It doesn't get under 80F at the house during summer but it was working fine. All the stickers are worn off but if anybody knows it would be helpful. Thank you!
