I need some advice from you veteran sales people since this is my first sales job that I started early December of last year in Texas. My pay has always had a base salary plus 10% commission. I was just notified that they’re removing my base pay and increasing the commission by 5% for a total of 15% but I only made one sale in the past 30 days and I can’t pay my bills without the base pay.

Does this fall under constructive dismissal and can I apply for unemployment? Is it different for commission based jobs? Is this normal?
