lonely adult/teen girl who has an imaginary friend
i want a book about a very lonely and isolated woman (no children, only teenage or adult) who still has imaginary friends and/or an imaginary partner.
if not an imaginary friend then i would like a book with the same idea but instead she uses ai chatbots to cope with her isolation. i don’t want it to be pro-ai though, i’m thinking more touching on the way those companies make chatbots to prey on vulnerable and lonely people to make money.
