Painting no tittle Spain

Painting no tittle Spain

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for help identifying the artist behind this painting, as well as the maker's mark on the back. Here are the technical details of the piece:

Medium: Oil on wood panel (panel painting).

Dimensions: 35 x 23 cm (Approx. 13.7 x 9 inches). Equivalent to the standard European "Size No. 5" format of the era.

Signature: Signed "Cesc" in the lower right corner, applied directly over the paint layer.

Style: Expressionist / Symbolist dark landscape.

Support details: The back of the panel features hand-beveled edges (crafted to fit a frame profile) and an embossed/stamped manufacturer's logo showing an anchor inside a heraldic shield with ropes or serpents. It also displays the number "5", indicating the standard commercial art supply size.

Estimated Origin: Likely Spanish (Catalan or Mediterranean school), early to mid-20th century (c. 1900-1950).

Any information regarding who this "Cesc" might be, or clues about the anchor supply mark on the back, would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
